Brody has had a busy summer playing with all of his friends... here are a few pictures of those playdates.

I love all of my friends!!!!!

Swimming @ Kula's pool

We were invited to swim at Kula's pool! Brody was so excited. Mommy found a hat (that actually fits), shades and plenty of sun screen. We were off swimming (aka splashing)!

I love to splash!!!!

I kept the hat and shades on all afternoon!

I love these swim trunks! Red, white & blue with baseballs!

Playing with the boys... Doger and Cooper are great sitters!

Swim Lessons.. Water babies I

I enrolled Brody in a swim class for babies. This class helps to get kids adjusted to the water so they do not have a fear of the water. Brody is a true water baby. He is the "splasher" of the class. He is also an excellent little kicker.

Getting changed into his swim trunks... so cute!

Hamming it up for the camera...

I Love Books!

Here are few pics of Brody choosing books from his browsing basket... He sits for a very long time looking at his books, magazines or anything that resemble a book (aka menus). I took to him to Barnes and Noble to walk around and escape the heat. We ended up in the children's section and I started to pull books of the shelf to read to him. He loved that! But when it was time to go he screamed and cried (with real tears) because we were leaving the books.

Ahhhh my little book worm...

Happy "1st" Father's Day

Favorite moments in San Fran

Visiting Candlestick park.. GO NINERS!!!!

Driving down Lombardt Street...
Driving through the mountains on highway 1 to see the Pacific ocean... brrr it was so cold!

Driving across the Golden Gate bridge (twice)! It was AWESOME!!!!!

Spots...Spots...& more Spots

I can't believe it has been so long since I have updated the family blog... Oops!

Let's start with Brody's most recent ailment... hives of some sort. He started out with a few spots on his torso, so we went to see the pediatrician. Benadryl and tylenol were prescribed to help him through his discomfort. We thought they would clear up in a few days... we were wrong.

This was how the "spots" started....

Four days later we flew out to San Francisco for a belated Mother's Day gift and the spots seemed to be getting worse and moving around his body. All of his little points swelled..he was puffy and miserable. So we just drove around San Fran.

Eating lunch in Sausalito....

a close up of his little face... (look at his little teeth!!)

can you make out how swollen his little fingers are????

So we spent Memorial Day in the ER because we were freaking out. That was pretty miserable because Brody does not have the best veins and they had to draw blood. The nurses had to call in the top guy who found his vein by touch, an hour and 4 pokes later.

In the ER at the height of all the "spots"

The doctors told us he had a form of hives that could last up to three weeks. Brody ended up having his spots for a total of two weeks. He is doing well and is fully recovered.
