Baseball Hat

Coming home from dinner last night, Brody and I were being silly. He kept looking at my hat and was trying to figure out what it was doing on my head. So, I put my hat on him. I love how the hat almost has a personality of its own.

Surprise!!!

First Trip to the FT. Worth Zoo

We took Brody to the FT. Worth Zoo. And in typical new parent fashion I forgot to pack all the necessary outside stuff (hat & sunscreen). So we had to buy a hat for Brody to wear. We only stayed a couple of hours and enjoyed walking around the Zoo. Brody enjoyed the flamingos, ducks, penguins, kangaroos, and elephants. We can't wait to go back and ride the train.

Silly Faces...

I was on a mission to take pictures of Brody in the bluebonnets. The hard part was finding a place with a lot of flowers. So as we were driving around Flower Mound we came across this great field of bluebonnets. So we parked the car and walked to the field. As we approached the field, Matt noticed several signs posted close to the street, WARNING: PRIVATE PROPERTY. OH NO! Were we just going to walk away from all these flowers?.... NO .... Matt placed Brody near the flowers and I took the pictures from the sidewalk. During the illegal photo shoot Brody decided he wanted to experiment with several silly faces... Hope you all enjoy!

Two little teeth

Who knew two little teeth could cause so much pain? Over the last week, two little teeth have begun to poke through Brody's bottom gum. I have yet to get pictures of these teeth, but they are there! Pretty soon there will be no more toothless smiles...

Greenbeans

On Sunday, Brody ate green beans as his second veggie. He didn't like the beans at first, he really wanted his carrots. But mommy kept putting them into his mouth and by the end of the feeding, Brody really liked green beans.

Austin's First Birthday

On Saturday, Cousin Austin celebrated his first birthday. His party was at a kids gym where the kids could run around and play on gym mats. It was really fun! Brody spent his time rolling around on the mats and watching Austin playing with his cake. Happy Birthday Austin, we love you!
