Two little teeth

Who knew two little teeth could cause so much pain? Over the last week, two little teeth have begun to poke through Brody's bottom gum. I have yet to get pictures of these teeth, but they are there! Pretty soon there will be no more toothless smiles...

Greenbeans

On Sunday, Brody ate green beans as his second veggie. He didn't like the beans at first, he really wanted his carrots. But mommy kept putting them into his mouth and by the end of the feeding, Brody really liked green beans.

Austin's First Birthday

On Saturday, Cousin Austin celebrated his first birthday. His party was at a kids gym where the kids could run around and play on gym mats. It was really fun! Brody spent his time rolling around on the mats and watching Austin playing with his cake. Happy Birthday Austin, we love you!

Pretzel & Toes

While waiting for the doctor to come in, Brody was playing with his toes. He looks like a pretzel in some of these pictures. He is so cute....

6 month Check-Up

On Friday, we took Brody for his 6 month doctor check-up. We were a couple of weeks late due to Brody being sick in January. All is well with lil Brody. 

He weighs 18 pounds and is 26 and half inches long. This puts him in the 50th percentile for both his weight and his height. His head measures 46cm, which places him the 95th percentile for head size. Yeah, he has a big noodle head...

Playtime....

Brody loves using his hands, he has really good control of objects for a 6 month old. This week Brody started to play with his Baby Einstein blocks and Fisher Price stackable rings. He is so much fun...

What do I have here.. a blue ring... Can I eat it?

On Brody's first Valentine's day we went to Sunshine Glaze. This is a pottery place where you can paint your own ceramics. All you pay is a small studio fee and whatever you choose to paint that day. On Saturday I painted I plate for my kitchen, my mom and two tiles with his hands & feet.

Brody loved getting his feet painted, he giggled a bunch because his feet are so ticklish. However, when we stamped his feet he did not like that at all. Oh well, he will only have little feet once. Enjoy the pics of our first Valentine's together.

The hands and feet will be black after the tiles are fired. I thought placing these with a close up picture of Brody's face would be a cute grouping.

This is the plate for my kitchen. The colors are yellow, green and cranberry red. I can't wait to see the finished pieces, I get to pick them up on Friday... woo-hoo!

Belly to Back

Yeah, Brody can roll from his belly to his back! Mommy and Daddy were getting a little nervous, we didn't know if Brody wanted to move. Brody decided it was time to get his moves on. Enjoy the pictures...

Buggies, High chairs, and Carrots... Oh My!

Brody has had some very monumental moments the last week, I wanted to make sure to share. He celebrated his six month birthday last Friday. I still can't believe it has been six months...yikes where does the time go.... Brody sat up in a buggie at Walmart for the first time. This was nice because Mom and Dad carried him right into the store.

While eating lunch with Steven, Deanna and Stevie, Brody sat up a high chair for the first time. I don't think he minded because he was able to ease drop on all the conversations going on around the table...

Brody has decided he likes to eat off of a spoon and is taking cereal very well. Mom and Dad decided it was time to try a veggie...in comes the carrots! He loves them! I love how wide his mouth opens when feeding him with food....
